Ashes to Beauty Ministries is a faith-centered organization dedicated to sitting with, standing with, and speaking up for those in the ashes. We trust God faithfully in the waiting and honor healing as sacred work, creating healing spaces that provide essential grief trauma support.
Programs and services
Faith-Centered Support & Healing Spaces
We offer facilitated support gatherings, retreats, and small groups for individuals navigating grief, trauma, abuse, and loss. These healing spaces are trauma-informed, spiritually sensitive, and non-performative, allowing participants to engage at their own pace without pressure to demonstrate faith outcomes or emotional resolution.
Advocacy & Awareness Initiatives
Ashes to Beauty Ministries provides trauma-informed advocacy for individuals impacted by human trafficking, domestic violence, abuse, and complex family or custody-related situations. Advocacy services include emotional support, safety-oriented accompaniment, systems navigation, documentation support, and coordination with legal, counseling, and protective services.
Advocacy is provided by or in collaboration with certified advocates, licensed counselors, trained pastors, and experienced ministry leaders, ensuring ethical care, confidentiality, and survivor-centered support. This ministry does not replace legal or clinical services; rather, it walks alongside individuals as they access protection, justice, and long-term healing.
All advocacy honors survivor agency, pacing, consent, and dignity and is grounded in trauma-informed practice, Christian compassion, and non-coercive care.
Education & Training
This organization will develop workshops, written materials, and digital resources focused on grief literacy, trauma-informed ministry, and ethical faith care. This training equips individuals and faith leaders to respond to suffering with humility, wisdom, and presence rather than platitudes or pressure.
Community Outreach & Referral Support
We offer outreach and referral support by connecting individuals to trusted counselors, crisis resources, and community services while providing supportive spiritual, emotional, and physical care.
Target Population & Community Need
The ministry serves individuals and communities impacted by prolonged grief, trauma, abuse, domestic violence, human trafficking, faith-related harm, and complex family or custody-related circumstances. Many served have experienced marginalization, silencing, or retraumatization within both faith spaces and institutional systems. The organization addresses the critical need for advocacy-informed, faith-centered care that honors safety, agency, and healing without urgency.
